1. What is oak wood?
Oak wood is also called Oak Wood, an angiosperm plant. 2. Classify oak wood
Natural oak wood is divided into two types: Red Oak and White Oak.
2.1. Red oak
The average weight of red oak is 753kg/m3, hardness 6583N. The heartwood is pink, the sapwood is white to light brown, and the wood is easy to shape into curves. Red oak wood is characterized by being hard and heavy, with moderate strength and good compression resistance. Compared to white oak, red oak is larger, distributed mainly in the Eastern United States.

The grain of white oak is straighter and longer than the grain of red oak, the tip of the grain is high and pointed, and the amplitude of the grain is narrow. The wood has high hardness and heavy weight. In particular, white oak contains a high level of tannin in the wood, so it can effectively resist insect attacks.
